Here he goes again - Past time to retire, McLame...

But this past week Senator John McCain (R-AZ) ratcheted up this sabotage to a new level. During a floor speech he gave on March 24th, the senator suggested that Israel “go rogue” and that if they don't they may not survive the next 22 months of the Obama presidency:
McCAIN: The Israelis will need to chart their own path of resistance. On the Iranian nuclear deal, they may have to go rogue. Let's hope their warnings have not been mere bluffs. Israel survived its first 19 years without meaningful U.S. patronage. For now, all it has to do is get through the next 22, admittedly long, months.

Who ever said you can't teach a old war whore new
words never met John Bomb Bomb Bomb Iran McCain.

But seriously...Now one has to wonder what the leaders of
the UK, France, Germany, China and Russia are saying
right now. Are they questioning whether or not they should
ever include the U.S. in any multinational negotiations in the future ?
Are they wondering if they should kick the U.S. out of the P5+1 talks
at this point ? And what are they saying about Netanyahu and Israel
right now ? The media and republicans are trying to make this all about
Obama and Iran. Yet they forget that 5 other major nations have 10 years
of time invested in these talks. Or maybe they haven't forgotten, but it's
that they simply don't care.

"Israel survived its first 19 years without meaningful U.S. patronage". So says McLame. But the truth is:

U.S. Financial Aid To Israel: Figures, Facts, and Impact

Benefits to Israel of U.S. Aid
Since 1949 (As of November 1, 1997)

Foreign Aid Grants and Loans

Other U.S. Aid (12.2% of Foreign Aid)

Interest to Israel from Advanced Payments

Grand Total

Total Benefits per Israeli

Cost to U.S. Taxpayers of U.S.
Aid to Israel

Grand Total

That is just thru 1997 and approx. $3B each year if not more, for another 18 years.... Bye, Bye, John - your time is up in the Senate, now move along.....
